![]() ![]() I think you're using key command for GPS thinking Easy FMC should pop-up. While flying you can view the gauge pop-up by going to the menu bar and open the instrument view and select the gauge from the drop down listing. Some gauges have a custom icon which is setup by following the installation instructions. If you use keyboard commands to display the gauge then the gauge reference should be in the gauge 00=www to gauge 08=www references. Originally posted by KenGardner:Adding gauges to your aircraft's panel is easy but there are rules. If there is another one, I would be glad to know :) This is the only way I know to define and locate the panel.cfg file for an aircraft. If XXX is not blank, like 'IFR' for example, then the panel folder name is 'panel.XXX' (with my example it would be panel.IFR), folder which contains the panel.cfg file. If XXX is blank, then the panel definition is in the 'panel' folder, which contains the panel.cfg definition file. For each variant, there is a line like panel=XXX. In each aircraft folder, you have an aircraft.cfg file that describes all the aircraft variants. Is there another way of defining which panel.cfg is used for an aircraft?Īs far as I know, each aircraft is defined in a folder located in SimObjects\Airplanes. Or maybe I missed something, after all this is possible. ![]() I triple-checked this and I can confirm the panel.cfg file I was editing was the one supposed to be used by FSX. We know an aircraft can use several panels, defined in the aircraft.cfg in each section, line panel=. ![]()
